If you decide to hire me, I promise that I myself, not a secretary, paralegal , or junior attorney, will personally prepare all the necessary papers. We can sit down in my office to discuss your particular situation, or, if you prefer, I can often do your case with no office visit, no lost time from work. In most cases everything can be done over the phone, through the mail, and/ or though email.
Even though I have a lot of experience filing no-contest divorces, keep up to date with changes in the laws, and have the latest software to assist me, when I file your papers I arrange for one of the court’s matrimonial clerks to give the papers a final “once-over” to make sure that they comply not only with all of the legal requirements, but also with the customs and practices of the courthouse where the papers are filed. This personal attention is designed to avoid unnecessary mistakes and delays. After the papers are filed I follow-up to make sure that the process is going smoothly. My fees are very reasonable – only slightly more than fees charged by fly by night services set up in storefronts by non-lawyers.
